Shell type The Tibia Fusus is a Gastropod (single shell mollusk). It belongs to the family of Strombidae or related to the conch family of shells. The Tibia Fusus is sometimes called the Shinbone Tibia.

Description This is s slender shell with a narrow, elongated straight, needle like siphonal canal. This long needle like canal is highly prized by collectors when undamaged. Color is pale brown with some cream and white on under side of shell.

Habitat The Tibia Fusus are found from the Indian Ocean east to the northern Australian/New Zealand shores. The prefer tropical deep water.
